Double date disaster...

This is horrible. Sooo horrible. Tonight was supposed to be special. I anxiously looked at my clock above the mantle. I knew it. Logan was late. I had promised Raven and her (hot) boyfriend that we would get together tonight. I didn’t want to blow this. I really wanted her to continue to like me. Finally I heard a beep outside. I rushed out the door, grabbing my coat and purse, and extra lip-gloss. I practically run to Logan’s car. He is ready to get out of the car and open to door for me, but I usher him back in his car. “Hurry up” I yell. His breathing starts to get faster. “Come on!” I say to him, “We need to hurry up. We should’ve been there 30 minutes ago!” He steps on the gas pedal. I open up his mirror and re-check my lip-gloss. 20 minutes later we are at the restaurant. I fix Logan up, straightening his tie and fixing his collar. “Why are we doing all this?” he wails. “Because I need Raven to like me more, and because I love you of course.” We walked to the front doors of the restaurant. “We're meeting my friend Raven” “Right this way,” the waiter tells us. “Always look at her and listen to what she’s saying.” I coach Logan. He rolls his eyes. Typical. “Right here” he waiter points to he table where Raven and Sean are siting. Raven takes a breath, “Finally decided to show up?” she scowls. I slide into the seat, with Logan right behind me. Raven and Sean started kissing again, and again. I try to ignore them, but they are just there, and they're hard to miss. “So,” I say, “Thank you for coming to dinner with us tonight.” “Mmm..” she answers. Raven and Sean are still kissing. I turn to Logan. He is playing with the straw paper, bored. Perfect. The waiter finally comes back to take our order. “I’ll have a salad.” Raven tells him. “Yeah me too.” says Sean. “Umm... well then give that to me also.” The waiter walks away. Logan sucks in his breath. The rest of the dinner went okay: I praised Raven; but she didn’t really talk to me. Raven and Sean made out the whole time. After the date, Logan took me home. “Well that went well,” he murmured. “Yeah, sure.” I answered. When we got to my house, Logan quickly opened the door for me. I stepped out and went to the front porch. I got out my key from my purse and opened the door. I started to walk in; “Oh yeah,” and I turned around and gave him a small peck on the lips. He looked at me, trying to get me to talk to him. “Thank you.” I said, and I walked inside. I bet Raven’s going to be talking about this at school on Monday. More tomorrow.
